I really dont know what the hell is going on this season, the exposition is terrible. And the timeline jumps are jarring, because Ali looks the same in 1980 and 1990 except his hair is shorter in 90. the white boy dectective looks exactly the same in both timelines.

:francis:
How drastically different did you look ten years ago? For most people (outside of hairstyle changes, weight loss/gain, onset of horrible illness) ten years doesn't cause much of a difference in appearance.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
My dad called me today, out the blue, says, instead of hello, “What the fukk is wrong with Purple Hays? What did he do?”, lol, I told him
i think the wife has something to do with it, got him to hide/withhold evidence, because it didn’t fit the narrative of her book, maybe even more devious

True detective is redeeming themselves after season 2 :ohhh:
Ever since season 1, I think that the actors are looking at TD as a platform to show their ass at acting. I think Ali is not only doing that, but the story is interesting as fukk, too. Season 2 was one of the most overacted things I have ever seen. It was like watching Scandal when Olivia had a scene with her father, over the course of a season

:ohhh: I never looked at it like that.

McConaughey had a mad run in the early to mid 2010s. Went from being a rom-com dude to a serious A-lister.

Now I def gotta check this season out.

I've only watched the first 2 episodes so far, but I wasn't paying close attention to detail. Is this the timeline: kids go missing in 1980, Hays learns about the girl may still be alive (1990), Hays is being interviewed/documentary about the case in 2015

Correct

We're all suspecting that Amelia did some shyt but in that dream/vision that Hays had of her she seemed to be blaming him for 'what he left in the woods' and that he needs to lose everything :merchant:

SOMEBODY IN THE THREAD SAID HE WAS DRIVING A BROWN CAR........

Besides the purple car the only car they really focus on is the Mustang parked in front of their house and then later on in the episode they show Hays looking at tire tracks couple of times
