That whole "time is a flat circle" shyt where we're stuck in this infinite loop was depressing as fukk...but it does make me think about how deja vu exists though...
P.S. Can someone update me with what happened between marty and his daughter? my girl called me and I had to leave the damn t.v. right when they were talking and only got back after she ran into her room

Nic Pizzolatto, the creator of the series said this about the "time is a flat circle" line:

"He says that if somehow you existed outside of time, you’d be able to see the whole of our dimension as one superstructure with matter superimposed at every position it had ever occupied. 2012 guess they are playing everyone like said and working together still.

That doesn't mean they're playing everyone, it just means they're gonna work together in 2012. And that was kinda obvious.

They definitely aren't playing everyone though, if they were Marty would have no reason to tell the 2 detectives "if you couldn't get a read on him he was getting a read on you". No reason to blow up Rust's spot if they're on the same team trying to fool the detectives.

People are reading a lot more into that picture than they probably should be. It means they're working together again in 2012. How people jumped to the conclusion "they were playing everyone during the interviews!"....I have no idea. Rust was playing the detectives, I'm sure Marty realizes that now, so he'll most likely go talk to Rust to finished what they started.

Rust and Marty working together again in 2012 was a foregone conclusion since the series started though. I don't know why anyone thought that the series would end without those two interacting ever again.

And you don't know they are, so what does that picture reveal? That they're working together again in 2012? People were saying that 20+ pages ago. It was assumed they'd team up again despite their differences.

And like I said, if they're both playing the detectives as part of some scheme, Marty has no reason to reveal that to them, like he just did. He just told them "Rust was getting a read on you". shyt makes no sense in the context of them mutually trying to deceive the detectives.
