Tax Man is a G. Dude got the genius game on lock and was straight punking the investigators in modern time. Woody got the fine ass side piece droppin' off deliveries to the office, but I was a little disappointed with how much MM outshined him.
Positives so far:
Visuals are powerful
Dialogue is top notch
The vagueness of the modern interviews is appealing in that, you're not just looking for "who did it" but wtf is going on in the modern case...what caused the split...etc.
Acting obviously
Negatives:
Having MM's character be so damned smart but so clueless in that scene with the top dogs sliding through, "who's eddie?"
Unnecessary handicapped character has become a staple of gritty, real shows...Idk it bothers me.
The implications of that "Start asking the right questions" comment to close...imo.
Negatives are pretty much reaches. Loved the first ep and I'm really hype for this series, already feeling the potential on this one...especially since the dialogue and concept are great.
