tonight was the first episode of the walking dead I have ever watched. I like theorizing about how to survive an apocalyptic zombie event. Its a fun thing to do. Thought the show would help me relive that. It did in a way, but sheesh that acting. Is it worth going back to season 1 and just skipping through to the good parts at least?

I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy season 1 just off the strength that you theorize about how to survive a zombie apocalypse. the story line is actually pretty good leading into season 2 and then it just starts to fall off imo. drastically. the writing isn't that great and the acting definitely leaves much to be desired. when season 3 started I had lost interest. thought I'd catch up recently but I've seen too much good television since I stopped watching and TWD has become a let down.....

Wrong, I think on Marty being an alpha male, all that bluster and self confidence mask a deep seated insecurity, and desire and compulsion to control and domineer…It's a trademark in forms of rapists and serial killers in general.

Right but I don't think his insecurity is any different than any other all star quarterback/star athlete. Look at the way that man acted when his wife left. Look at how dumb he looked going to her job and trying to get her back. Look at how "off" Marty acts in high pressure situations. He's not methodical or ritualistic enough to be the killer.

A sexist, yes. Chauvinistic, yes. A rapist, probably, he may have fukked a chick who had way too many drinks once. But a serial killer, Marty, that nah…not Marty….

generally speaking women do not like those type of conversations and subject matter…..unable to disconnect their personal feelings from it, and look objectively, granted that may have been asking a lot of her, given the circumstances.

tell me about…..:snoop:

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHOOOOOLYFUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!

That was amazing. Just amazing. The whole time I was like "oh man this show is getting really really good." Then they took it over the top and doubled back to go over the top again.

I've been waiting for this, and I was so not disappointed. In fact, I didn't see this coming at all.

about halfway through the last scene I was asking myself if it had been one continuous shot.

My mind is blown. Bravo.

Talking about, "I'm his sponsor, he hasn't had a drink in 20 years." :deadrose:

Lucky they didn't stomp his ass out right there.

I mean, what was the plan if he got back there?

They're supposed to be cops but they got they shottys out with one of the dealers all beat up and shyt

They pulled up to the projects in a old ass Chevy Blazer with regular plates

Why the fukk was it taking Ginger so long to put the stuff in the bag?

How were they supposed to get out of there alive?

^^^This thread is hilarious. Agree with everybody else on the closing shot with Rusty escaping from the projects. Visually the show is on some other ish right now.

It was weird seeing crazy dude from Raising Hope show up as the drug dealer that Marty shook down. The preview for next week showed the big Amish dude Hood tangled with on Banshee.

Was this the first time we saw the upstairs area of Rust's place?

Guess Marty won't be seeing those tig ol bitties anymore now that ol girl blew up his marriage.
