Rust was undercover in Dallas though, how would he know the killer in the boondocks of Louisiana? Too much of a coincidence

Dallas is not that far and dealers just don't deal local and I'm sure the killer moved around. I said he may have come across in passing like he did have contacts who knew where that brothel was in the boondocks also. Rust is an excellent cop who doesn't miss much so I think he may have been in his presence before.

Is this show an atheist soap box, all I keep hearing is Rusts religious rants for 5 minutes and then a lack luster straw man response by Woody. Then you have the general hypocrisy that is Woody's life in comparison to his values. There isn't much balance in this message so I'm assuming that the bias is intentional. I guess you could say there is a little balance in Rusts shytty life brought on by the reality of his conclusions though.

Yep that is right. I have a feeling that either they have a shoot out with Reggie and he dies, and he has "something" in his house that ties him to the case, and they think he is "the killer", while the actual killer emerges again sometime later.

Both woody and Matthew hit it out of the park this time. The cinematography is amazing.

I know Matthew is getting alot of attention, but Woody is really good as well. I just watched the movie Rampart with Woody, and he did a good job in it. You can tell the script aint shyt, but he really elevated the movie with his performance.

Dope episode. Not much else to say really. Martin is a lunatic.

Something I noticed that I'm starting to think is intentional, although I have no idea why it would be intentional....every episode the actors are staring dead into the camera. Not every scene obviously but every ep so far at least one person has stared directly into the camera.

The last few episodes have sucked me in. Them beautiful wide frame shots

The dialogue is fantastic. Justified level great. Maybe better. And mcganawd is just gawdly. Its getting very cinematic . Next week looks insane.

on the real rust is eunuch status for me on this show...that dude just dont have p*ssy on the brain none whatsoever....i dont even think walkin in on daddario spread eagle on his floor bed would even get a 2nd look outta him

I agree. True Detective is a lot more layered dialogue wise, some really cool philosophical and metaphorical shyt as well... I rewatched the episodes because I'm always blunted when I watch it live and noticed a lot more stuff, extremely well written. I really like McConaughey's outlook on things as depressing/weird as they are.

Let's not get fukking crazy. This show has 3 episodes, "Justified" has held it down for 5 seasons. Let's let this shyt get one season out before we start making wild claims.
