Where in the court documents does it show T.I. working in cooperation with the D.A.'s office or the prosecutors? if you can't show paper work saying he was a cooperating defendant then he didn't snitch.

if Banga (respect to his family) doesn't have gun residue from the blowback of the discharge (pause) then it's not a suitable defense of Troy picking up the gun from his fallen friend.
Edited to Add: for those not up on here, this is how it works...
When you discharge a firearm, rather it be a pistol a semi-auto or a rifle, the gun powder residue plus some of the oil from the bolt mechanism will discharge backwards upon the shooter. their hands and face(depending on how they aimed the weapon) should have residue detectable.
if they swab the hands, forearms and face of Banga and find no residue blowback, then it's not a suitable story to claim "I picked the gun up when my friend got shot."
even if that were the case, and someone got a shot off before homie could shoot his, in the courts, it's about proof and if you can't prove it then you in trouble.

No disrespect, but I've done 4 years, this is definitely get yourself locked up 101.
For one, you don't tell the police ANYTHING, unless you know what you're doing and know how to appear uninvolved or not knowledgeable to the police, without incriminating yourself or saying too much.
The key is, in the heat of the moment, if you haven't already planned it and thought it out long term (defense, lawyer fees on deck, etc) or you're not quick witted, you probably fukked. In this situation, the dead homie story is cool, but that's for your lawyer to hear and tweak, not the cops.
It won't work out in your favor incriminating yourself, no matter how innocent you make it sound. The law is about that black and white. Did you violate this shooting/weapons statute and can they prove it beyond a reasonable doubt? Now ask yourself before trial, did what you say or not say to cops help or hurt your defense case in the long run?

Yep, he was probably excited, had a show with T.I in his hometown, had his friends & family there, probably made 5-7k from the show... And ended up with his boy getting killed, his GF shot, his foot shot, & spending the next 15 years in Prison
