I've seen his docket report and while there's nothing like a motion for downward departure, which sometimes appears in the docket of cooperating defendants, there are several sealed motions right before his sentencing, which could very well contain motion for Rule 35 or 5k1, which are the downward departures based upon cooperation. I really don't know, but I'd learn towards those sealed motions containing something like that. If he released his PSR (Pre Sentence Report) it would also fully clear or fully incriminate him.
You should offer him a ban bet for his mod title. I agree with your story that nobody else fired a shot before troy
ironically, Ken just got someone off today on a triple shooting
saw it on the noticias
I doubt they can use his music against him in court to be fair. As far as I know, he doesn't have a criminal rap sheet, so that also may help, but otherwise, unless you're Cory Gunz and you can giggle your way out of jail time, those laws are strict in a police state like Manhattan
fukk paper work...I'm not defending T.I. but I do always ask the following...
Where in the court documents does it show T.I. working in cooperation with the D.A.'s office or the prosecutors? if you can't show paper work saying he was a cooperating defendant then he didn't snitch.
do yall even fully understand or know what snitching is? I think you don't.
Not true, there is a few cases in which rappers lyrics came back to haunt them.
some were lyrics of a rapper rehashing how he murdered a rival, some cases involved rappers rapping in general about the street life they claimed to live and it was bad news for them.
now, Troy's legal team might make it very difficult for the prosecutors to use his lyrics but it doesn't stop a jury from being influenced by his lyrics and assuming he is a threat to society. and lmao, wtf happened with Cory? did he really giggle his way out?
HipHopDX: So what’s going on with Cory?
Peter Gunz: Cory’s signed to Young Money, but he got caught with a firearm in the Bronx. He was facing a three to nine [year sentence], but the judge came down to a two-and-a half [years]. It was Cory’s first offense. He’s never been in trouble, so I was trying to get them to move that off the table. But you know, when you’re a rapper, black and… They’re just hard on guns in the city. So, Young Money put up a lot of money, we fought and I kept Cory quiet. He didn’t put out a lot of music. We smoldered him. When you making noise and you’re popping, that’s when they make an example of you. So we either had to keep him hot and he got his ass in jail or cool him off and try to get him hot again. But now that he’s got probation, he’s out in Miami trying to work on records and get himself up again.
fukk paper work...
Probation + having no career or buzz + prison time
