Troubled Couple Commits Suicide Together in New York

Well, there’s no way to get around a story just being…terribly sad.

According to the NY Post, a young couple committed suicide last Monday in New York City, because they were not supported in their relationship.

Davon Smallwood and Ariana O’Neal jumped in front of a Long Island Railroad train at a Hollis Queens station because O’Neal’s mom did not approve of their relationship. In their suicide note, the couple stated, in barely legible writing, that “two great people were going to paradise” and “Everything will be good.”

Sadly, it won’t as the couple leaves behind a two year old daughter.

According to police, O’Neal’s mom didn’t like Smallwood because he’d had some recent police trouble that she didn’t agree with. The couple – he was 25 and she was 21 – had also been arrested for stealing jewelry in Jamaica, Queens.

One of O’Neal’s neighbors said she often wandered around the train station looking sad.

The train’s windshield was cracked from the impact. As a result of the tragedy, the train was delayed by about two hours.

What a terribly sad story. Hopefully, the relatives of the late couple will be able to rally together – hopefully, refraining from placing blame – to raise their daughter.

my thing is, this couple couldnt have been thinking rationally since they left their 2 yr old baby girl behind.
