Me and wifey went into HEB and all the damn bananas were gone:russ:
I'm looking at her like:gucci::dwillhuh::mjcry:
She laughing and shyt..
I love apples too and then them shyts was gone as well..
Seen muthafukkas buying charcoal..
I was behind a breh in line and he was like..
"Man I'm tryin to through a bbq on Saturday for the fight..
No matter what:mjgrin::skip:
It's funny but sad how people are nicer in the face of a storm..
Never chopped it up with so many people today...
Even white folks being nice:skip::pachaha:

I always thought it was weird to see folks buying meat to bbq or cook inside when there is a chance lights can go out.

This is randomly weird because just last week when mama and I were talking about these klan rallies going on, I got overly emotional and I said "I wish a big ass storm would come to scare white folks" she hit me with the :gucci: face and

told me to not wish harm on anyone (I don't but I honestly don't know what made me say that. I've been irritated lately lol)

Why a week later I see a hurricane on tv and white folks out here where I'm at losing their damn minds :gucci:.

My neighbors building shyt with no kind of shoes on...........................:gucci:

Church brochures being passed out randomly :gucci:

Hell even white folks letting mama and I cut in line :gucci:

These type of storms make them oddly fearful for some strange reason :patrice:

But you be careful as well my sisters keep calling I think they're scared and want to come over. I can't deal with a house full of snoring :francis:

The Houston news media always stokes fear and frenzy into the hearts of the masses during these major rain events. After that 2005 Rita debacle, a large number of forecasting busts of various levels during the droughts in the early 2010s, and a couple of tropical storms and one Hurricane that actually hit closer to the city and did nothing but lightly dust it, they had to pull back on the hysterics. But after the Memorial Day floods of 2015 and the lesser 2016 Tax Day floods people are spooked about flooding. Now the local news is back on it's bullshyt. I remember even after Allison people weren't :lupe: about flooding. It floods a lot in Houston. No one feared storms/Hurricanes because of the flooding, it was always the wind. This shyt is recent and I think it's tied to social media. I've never seen people fear flooding like this before.
