I don't know why you talking about Katrina. Katrina was bad because New Orleans is below sea level and shaped like a bowl and the levees broke.

Houston doesn't have a levee system like New Orleans. Houston isn't even close to a main body of water like New Orleans.

I went to sleep at 10am this morning this storm was not even a full blown hurricane yet. It's 8:40pm this b*tch a what? a cat. 3 already

We did fill the car up and did some small shopping. Water gone.....bread gone (purchased slider bread instead though ), chips gone, beer gone ().............white folks losing their minds out here ..........running in the stores n sh*t .

They did say we're getting anywhere from 10 to 15 inches of rain over the next few days . The water drains very quickly where I'm at so I'm not too scared about the flooding. I wish we still had my brother-in-law's generator though.


We really need to get one in the future.


I hope all my Texas folks who are in the line of it stay safe.
