Hope everyone is making it thru this ok.

I consider myself blessed thus far so I hate to say this but I need to vent cotdamnit. I'm barely, and I mean barely, keeping water outside my house. All day these piece of shyt fakkits in their pickup trucks keep driving up and down my street. Every time one of these mfers passes they push waves of water on my property and I've reached my breaking point. My driveway runs to the backyard and you can see the water getting pushed from the street all the way to my backyard (where it's pooling) in addition to crashing into my front door. Bout to stand outside in the rain with my rifle and shoot out the tires of any truck coming down my street. Y'all have a blessed day...

The water is actually receding pretty fast in areas where the rain has stopped.

I was thinking about moving from these apartments. After this, I'm never leaving. Never feared for my life or property. Gonna fix this place up a bit so next time I can offer shelter to others in times like this.

Between Texas and Louisiana flooding the last 15 years fema got to be feeling it in there pockets.

We are still trying to get repairs and assistance here from all the crazy flooding from last year.

This is like katrina but potentially way more expensive because of the infrastructure.
