Houston seems like a place where people from Cali would def move to considering all the opportunity out there, I know I considered it before all this went down. Is the city ever gonna be the same again? News making it seem like this is worse than Katrina in terms of damage
No doubt it will be rebuilt. This is Texas man. There's a state pride here that is instilled in you in kindergarten that you can't find anywhere else in the country. Especially in SE Texas, people are salt of the earth. I expect there to be a communal effort to get things right with minimal looting, minimal political bureaucracy.

People from Cali are moving out here in droves. That's why housing prices have shot up.

In terms of property I'd say this is worse than Katrina

What made Katrina the tragedy it was was the levees breaking and the US govt ignoring them for 4 days
