Tried my PS4 Pro on my family’s 4K UHD tv and wasn’t that impressed

You have to make sure the tv has uhd enabled and that you are playing the right games. Horizon zero dawn, uncharted 4 and the spin off with the two chicks, tlou, red dead, all look amazing in 4k.

I think there was a option for it on the tv settings but it wouldn’t let me turn it on

I believe it's in the settings of each individual game in the main menu

Make sure the deep colot option is on if you using an oled. Other tvs have a similiar option you have to enable as well. Then make sure the ps4 pro is set to 4k as welll

Hdr is more inportant than 4k imo....make sure the tv has hdr to take full advantage of the pro.

Hdr plus might turn on automatically with the device, not sure tho.

Turn on uhd color or deep color, can’t remember the option. You have to turn it in per tv input.

Play a proper game Horizon Zero dawn or nba 2k.
