it didn’t really seem any different than the quality on my HDTV , I changed the video settings , tv is on GAME mode , still looks regular

I’m not using the HDMI the PS4 Pro came with , I think I heard your suppose to use the PS4 Pro HDMI cord to get full quality?

Thoughts

trash advice all around

if you go to the video settings and you can select 4k you dont need another cable, most hdmi cables will get the job done

plus we need to know what kind of tv it is.....
I heard before you need the HDMI it came with to get the full quality, and the TV is a Samsung

Along with the proper HDMI cord, make sure the Deep Color option is enabled. Did it switch to HDR mode when you put the game on?

You don't need an expensive one but there's still quite a few olde, non-high bitrate HDMI cables being used out there. Also, if the tv is plugged into a non-4k receiver, you'll need to upgrade it to one that supports it.

HDR MODE?
Will it pop up like how it does for super sampling mode
