Trevor Lawrence was supposed to be "generational"

Two huge collapses

The playoff game

Second half this season

It’s time to start a dialogue

Idk, I’m sure some of this falls on him, but I’m of the kind state, if a guy shows you he’s good in college it’s up to the organization (everyone) to make sure he succeeds, if he doesn’t i start with the coaches and scheme first then look at him

Dude is a one-read QB

Most are, that’s how many design their schemes

You always trying to judge somebody. Nobody said shyt when you took a major step back from drive thru attendant to 3rd shift janitorial underling. :BrutusMane: Be better.

That’s crew chief to you mop and bucket ass nikkas

I agree, though to me size is a huge factor which is why Tua is seen the way he is. Props to Tua for not being as pathetic as Bryce right now tho

He just doesn't see the game the way he should. He doesn't understand how to manage game situations and what to look for. And he most certainly is not reading defenses. If he changes the play it's to a run, and it wastes a lot of possessions. I think they said we were the #1 team in rushing attempts but 22nd in actual run offense and a lot of that is attributed to Trevor.

Also because of that poor arm strength his actual throwing mechanics suck. He doesn't stand firm in the pocket to deliver the ball, it's this weird "push up" motion that looks like a sissy throw. He misses a ton of throws because of that, our QB coach must be ass.

Ok so I thought it was just my bias. He throws the ball like a catapult so he always overthrows his receivers but its not a catchable ball

he isnt one read....
our Oline hasnt been the greatest and when he got hurt the gameplan has often been quick passes.

My issue with him is his ball security. Fumbles mainly. And he relies on his talent and goes for the big play rather than a safer play (which you almost shouldnt coach him away from that)

I think he has a pretty strong arm....

I dont know about all this generational stuff... but I think he's going to be one of the better QBs in the league.

I think he should be coached away from that unless the talent on the roster improves enough that it's justified.

Dude has games where he's like 3/14 on 3rd down conversions because instead of getting the quick 4 yards on 3rd & 2 he's threading the needle 15 yards down the field to a receiver that isn't even open

You run the risk of him losing his edge.... with talented people, you just have to let it come together as an outsider... I think he's a hard worker, so I'm not as worried about it. I think he will figure it out.

Every QB Trevor should be aspiring to play like did not play that way. Brady, Peyton, Rodgers, Brees, etc. they read the defensive look, took the easy play when appropriate, got rid of the ball quick, and took the shot when they deemed necessary either due to a 1 on 1 look or due to the dynamics of the play that was ran.

He's playing like a gunslinger without the gun. I don't see that working unless we had hall of famers at wideout

Fantasy football makes you pay attention to QBs you normally wouldn’t care about way more than you should.

Watching this dude play every week, his problem is he thinks he’s better than he actually is. When he pushes the ball down field and attempt throws into windows that maybe only Mahomes could make shyt is a problem. And when he throws picks they are AWFUL, Ridder level mistakes.

He’s at his best when he’s using his legs, pulling in the safeties and making the reads easier. He was starting to cook until he got that weird ankle injury.
