Never really bought the hype 100%. Too much of a noodle arm.

I think people overrate arm strength, but a generational prospect should have an insane arm. Talking like 75-80 yard capable.

Like this is the furthest I've seen dude throw and that's only 60 yards:

I think Tua is a superior arm talent to be honest.

They're similar in arm strength but Tua is a whole other level when it comes to floating passes over coverage right into soft spots on the field.

I agree, though to me size is a huge factor which is why Tua is seen the way he is. Props to Tua for not being as pathetic as Bryce right now tho
Trevor Lawrence is a mid at best QB. I thought maybe he could develop into a top 10 QB but he makes the same fundamental mistakes.
He just doesn't see the game the way he should. He doesn't understand how to manage game situations and what to look for. And he most certainly is not reading defenses. If he changes the play it's to a run, and it wastes a lot of possessions. I think they said we were the #1 team in rushing attempts but 22nd in actual run offense and a lot of that is attributed to Trevor.

Also because of that poor arm strength his actual throwing mechanics suck. He doesn't stand firm in the pocket to deliver the ball, it's this weird "push up" motion that looks like a sissy throw. He misses a ton of throws because of that, our QB coach must be ass.

He took a major step backwards this season. There's no way I'd give him a massive extension right now. He'd be playing on the tag like Kirk Cousins when the time comes.
You always trying to judge somebody. Nobody said shyt when you took a major step back from drive thru attendant to 3rd shift janitorial underling. :BrutusMane: Be better.

The loss today was tough and he played like shyt but he was hurt, so whatever.

The entirety of this 2023 season is the alarming part, didn't take the leap that other young QBs who get a new weapon and continuity in an offense have recently. The lack of football IQ and big dumb jock mistakes show up every week, you start to wonder if he'll ever shake it.
