People will complain that removing jackson is equivalent to erasing 'very important history'.

On the one hand it's kind of troubling seeing a freedom fighter on US currency when slaves were used as collateral in transactions. On the other hand fukk Andrew Jackson.

Anyways in a few months people on Twitter are gonna call 20s "freedom papers" or some shyt.

Is this America finally acknowledging the wrongs of the transatlantic slave trade and the legacy of slavery?
