listen, in the midst of the crossfire, lets put things in perspective...

if Guardians doing a billy get Hollywood to take space operas serious again, and we get a serious star trek franchise, or tv show, or we get Mass effect the movie or tv show, then im all for it

i just wanted people to come back to earth on Guardians, i said the same thing about Dawn of the Planets of the apes, but it had no competition, because distributors were scared, what happened here they ran out of summer and had to get these last movies in before school started, and I always though this August slate of movies was pretty good

niccas was talking about Guardians should be up for best picture, that's when I had no choice but to say something

When asm 2 came out and didnt retain #1 on its second weekend, marvel stans squeeled with delight and dubbed the film a failure and flop because it was only #1 for one weekend.


So by their own rules, gotg is a failure and a flop. If you like i can point you in the direction of said comments.
