That movie only made 65 mil compared to almost 100 mil the Guardians made. And Guardians still made 41 million going head to head with it.

So I don't look at it as a loss for Marvel. Ask yourself, How much would Ninja Turtles have made if it wasn't going up against Guardians? It probably would've made 90 to 100 million.
