Matter of fact, AoU has a higher Rotten Tomatoes rating, higher average critic rating, higher audience score, higher Metacritic score and higher IMDb rating. It has both the critics' and the public's approval.

The original Westworld movie was a disaster movie about renegade themepark robots! The tv-show literally represents the opposite of your argument because they gave the concept deeper meaning and took it more seriously. This dumb ass logic of yours is why you deserve all the trash blockbusters you get. Michael Bay keeps making the Batman & Robin of Transformers movies and you never stop to think that maybe with some dedication from the filmmakers you could be watching The Dark Knight of Transformers movies instead. Because you create substance where there is none to give it meaning. If nobody ever seeked substance where "there is none" 90% of modern entertainment wouldn't exist, you dumb fukk. Comic books would still be dumb tales for kids if people like Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Neil Gaiman or Frank Miller sought to bring substance to it instead of being like "superheroes is just some silly dumb shyt for kids".
