I don't know which specific play you are referencing. I'm a Hawks fan so I see him play just about every game and what he usually does is if he gets past you and you are on his hip tight he will slow his dribble, once he feels you on top of him he then goes up for the shot. The defenders momentum carries him into Trae so it's called a foul. It's the same thing Harden, CP3, and other shifty guards do.

He isn't initiating the contact unless you are of the belief that you should only dribble at one speed.
He does poke his butt out ( :dame:) during the pull up to sell the contact which people confuse with initiating contact.

I dunno how some of y'all cosign this shyt, like do you ENJOY watching basketball this way? :gucci:

Perfect example, that's one of the stupidest, most bullshyt drawn "fouls" out there. NBA even acknowledged this in part when they changed the rule back in 2011 but they left enough leeway room that it still happens.

If he tries to put up a good shot it obviously not ref-baiting. If he purposely avoids the best shot and throws his arms into the defender when he shoots instead (as Harden often does), then of course it's ref-baiting.

It's :laff: to me that people complain about the NBA being too soft and then co-sign THAT shyt as a foul. He was barely moving when the "foul" occurred, he barely touched him, but now the narrative is he "bodied" him just cause Trae stopped and stuck his ass out and purposely initiated and then flopped.

In a real game you wouldn't even have noticed that the two players had contacted cause the offensive player wouldn't have done anything that looked like he'd even been hit.

That's false, refs are repeatedly asked to judge intent on calls.
That’s a foul man in this situation. Dude pulled on Trae.

Bu-bu-but Nash ain't Trae's idol
Bu-bu-but I know Trae said that Nash is his idol, but who does he play like?

I’m Trae plays NOTHING like Steph; their styles of play are virtually polar opposite. Trae is a ball-dominant guard who hasn't shown any ability to play off-the-ball, which is Steph's bread and butter (in fact, he's equally adept with the ball in his hands and without it). And then to top it all off, the muh'fukka said Trae's added elements to his game that Steph doesn't have.

This is what happens when you don't know what the fukk you're talking about. Just all around embarrassing posting.

:picard:

nikka you sound desperate as fukk. Tell me where did I juelz. If anything I doubled down:dahell:

And the fukk are u even talking about Stanley:gucci:

Trae’s game IS a carbon fukking print of Curry’s game. Just because he emphasizes other areas and is better at other areas doesn’t mean it’s not similar.

They play “nothing alike” :dahell: nikka is you fukking retarded?

Im sayin tho. I know that's what he says. But who does he play like? Nash or Steph? Plus when you add to the fact that he never acknowledges that Steph never had any influence on his game...that's a lil off. Reminds me of when Kobe used say Magic was his favorite player and his idol. But what did Kobe's game clearly say?

Either way i like the lil nikka he's added stuff to his game Steph still can't get to:yeshrug:
He plays a lot like Nash breh

just cause he's a lil light skinned PG who shoots 3's dont mean he is Steph.

Steph moves a lot without the ball and runs off screens as where Trae has the ball in his hands and orchestrates the offense like Nash, he's a great passer but also shoots a lot of 3's.

Trae is a Nash that shoots more 3's and gets to the line.

he rarley ever runs off screens like Steph
