Mr.Somebody brought up Ethiopia practicing Christianity like that was suppose to dispel the fact that white people have been spreading Christianity to other places deeper within the continent. I was just pointing out that homosexuality that mowgli accuses white people of spreading goes hand in hand and is prob related to Christianity spreading as well. Mr.Somebody then comes in and points out Ethiopia like i am not familiar with geography and it's closeness to Rome and also Ethiopia has nothing to do with what i said. I guess because he thought because Ethiopians are black that would matter for some reason.

The problem with atheists is that they make up their own thoughts for the people they talk about things with. I made the point that there were christians in Ethiopia centuries before europeans assisting in spreading the word. You people are telling me that these people dont count and dont matter. Thats your opinion but i feel they do matter.

Yeah, and then it was proven that those Christians were foreign merchants who were keeping their faith secret. They had no discernable effect on Ethipioian Christianity until Frumentius came along and started telling them to practice openly, along with converting the King.

FAR REACH MUCH?... gottdamn, lol.

First there have always been gay people. Gay people as an accepted culture and the sub cultures that came from that were spread by Europeans; as we show nothing that proves otherwise.

And ancient Christianity wasn't about that homo life, even more so than the White washed version we have today. However, I'm interested in how Christianity help spread fakkitism. Most of the white men who colonized raped black woman or made them sex slaves, them raping black men or spreading fakitism isn't talked about much.

Ethiopia matters in the conversation how?

Were they responsible to for spreading it deeper in Africa? If they did not then why bring it up at all?

Thats cool, but they were already there for centuries. :manny: You sound like one of those hiphop heads who thinks a rapper isnt legitmate unless he signs to a major label.

Foreign, non-Ethiopian merchants who were secretly Christian? Maybe, but if so, they clearly had no effect on the natives. Fact remains, friend... your argument was crushed, and it was clearly established that Ethiopian Christianity has a Greek ancestry.

Let's get back to talking about those Cac-tholics who converted your ancestors. Then we can establish pre-Christian African views on homos.

No, there were Ethiopian christians in Ethiopia before these merchants you mentioned. Im talking 1 AD you're talking 300 something.

You cant just say something is crushed and its so. I get it. You're willing to be dishonest and spread lies just to be competitive. Sad.

Yes, you and only you are talking 1AD. The Ethiopian history books are with me, as I already showed, while you're still clinging desperately to wishful thinking. Even the people you're trying to defend don't agree with you.

Actually no im not the only one. Maybe in this thread but then again, you're the only one debating history facts with me. Friend, its not debateable that there was a christian presence and ethiopian christians in ethiopia in 1ad. It is a fact that the government got involved in the 300's. If you're comfortable keeping your knowledge surface then thats fine. The only person you're crushing, is yourself.

:deadmanny: <--- Look its you. :heh: I jested there.

show me the strong presence of Christianity in the Zulu, Yoruba or countless other tribes.

or are you one of those who only acknowledge the Roman States.

The Story of Africa| BBC World Service

Christianity came first to the continent of Africa in the 1st or early 2nd century AD. Oral tradition says the first Muslims appeared while the prophet Mohammed was still alive (he died in 632).

Thus both religions have been on the continent of Africa for over 1,300 years. Some would argue that both Islam and Christianity are indigenous African religions. Not everyone shares this view.
