I think he misses a game. It is more important that Armstead is back though. Sucks about Jackson, he needed to take a step this season and while he made some progress he just wasnt there. We have a bunch of holes to fill in the draft next season.

Obviously they can’t count on Drake Jackson being a starter in 2024, so they’ll likely double up on potential starting DEs in free agency and the draft

I can see it being a heavy OL and DL draft class for us

its not even RT, Trent is 36...he may have a drastic drop off or just retire soon. I wouldnt even mind a trade up a bit higher to draft a tackle who can play LT that they really like. Ideally its a tackle who who projects to be a LT starter

they start him at RT and then move him to LT when Trent is done

I think our FO will probably try to replace Trent with a free agent or via trade. Unless the plan is to do a full rebuild after 2025.

Didn't realize that Drake was that seriously hurt. Who knows how long he's been dealing with knee issues. But it could partly explain why he had 3 sacks in the opener, then absolutely nothing after that

Hopefully he can be healthy for OTAs and Training Camp

I've given up on Drake. He's like Kinlaw to me. If he can turn things around, great but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Crazy thing about Kinlaw is that he played in every game this year and set a career high in sacks. But his run defense is nowhere near as good as it used to be

he just gets pushed off the ball and plays too upright. Im not sure he ever was that good at run stopping. they drafted him high hoping his athleticism and size would make him a great pass rushing DT but that never happened
