Just saw a video someone did on Lamar where they was foaming at the mouth of his doing the exact same thing.
Go southpaw then switch back and throw a dime

might need to ask @South Paw
A lot of our fans lose any rationale when it comes to discussing the QB position and Twitter of course just makes shyt worse.Brock creating some really dumb 9er takes.
What's the dumb take here? That Brock is currently trending in the same direction as Montana? That's empirically true. It's also true that Montana played in a different, more QB-difficult era and stats are supercharged in this era, but that applies to every QB in the modern game, and no one is using those caveats to downplay Mahomes' greatness. Brock has had one of the best starts to a career of any QB in NFL history. It's ok to acknowledge reality.Brock creating some really dumb 9er takes.

I just think it's a useless comp. Brock is barely starting his career, seeing what Montana was doing at the same stage of his career doesn't tell me literally anything. Players develop different, rosters are built different and each era has it's own particularities so I honestly don't care how Purdy to compares to anyone after 21 starts. The dude is good, has shown improvements and I hope he leads to a ring. What's the dumb take here? That Brock is currently trending in the same direction as Montana? That's empirically true. I think comparisons are a natural part of any sport because competition breeds comparison. "Who's in your top 5? Who had the better career? What's the best team of all time? Who's the GOAT?" are all normal, fundamental questions in sports discourse. It's difficult to track how good a player is if you can't compare them to anything. There's no objective ranking when making a comparison but that's what makes it fun to discussI just think it's a useless comp. I actually didn't give a damn about the García comp either, that's why I didn't even post about it Jimmy G I can understand because he's literally our last QB1, lol.I think comparisons are a natural part of any sport because competition breeds comparison. People didn't have an issue when we were comparing Brock to Jimmy and Garcia a couple weeks ago, so I think it's just people being superstitious or nervous about acknowledging how remarkable Brock's career has been so far

Because they have to add THEIR TAKE and fukk it up. Put the numbers up and shut the fukk up. But no... They gotta end it with their spin "he's trending in the right direction"Brock creating some really dumb 9er takes.
Tell us how showing a group of 21 games shows you which direction he's trending? Either of them. With these stats you don't know if their first game, fifth game, tenth game or 21st game was the best, or if the games are getting better or worse over the 21 game span. What's the dumb take here? Just out of curiosity, what's your conclusion after watching Brock's first 21 starts and looking at his numbers?Because they have to add THEIR TAKE and fukk it up. Put the numbers up and shut the fukk up. But no... They gotta end it with their spin "he's trending in the right direction"
First off, your progress from 1 point to the other is the trend. Not one group of games and the total stats. To show a trend, they would show his game 1 stats THROUGH his game 21 stats and the numbers should IMPROVE. That's how you know he's trending UP
Then they would show those same stats for Montana, then compare the TRENDING direction and gap.
So they not only use the numbers incorrectly, the conclusion is also wrong.

Stop listening to these twitter experts cause they confusing the facts. With this data, we have zero clue who TRENDED better from game 1 to game 21
