Div games always tougher due to familiarity

Strategic familiarity does not carry across coaching staff. It doesn't matter if they're in the same division if the coaching staff is new. The Cards coaching staff are AFC east coaches and that showed up in their game against the Cowboys.

There's no way they are familiar with us in the first game against us.

Kyle just trying shyt out with inferior teams -and sometimes taking very dumb losses- so he can then show his bag in a big game has been a staple from him as a Niner coach since day 1

There's a million reasons. I do think sometimes division games are tougher due to familiarity but there's lots of reasons. Sometimes you just have an off day. Purdy had a couple games where he was missing throws. We probably could have put up 40+ in those games if he was on target.

The Purdy we've seen the last two weeks has been a sharp shooter. He's reading the defense quickly and getting the ball out in a hurry with precision. It's AMAZING he lasted until the 7th round.

But you have to remember too that Dallas is a rivalry and we wanted to make a statement on national TV. You can get up more for those games than a week 9 game in Arizona or whatever.

Kyle had to have been going vanilla as hell up until this game. Otherwise it makes no sense that we had more trouble with Rams defense than the Cowboys defense......and the same with AZ for the first three quarters.

the difference was our D shutting down dallas offense besides the one long ball. defense struggled at times vs the rams and cardinals. as a result offense was on the field less. purdy also missed a few throws against the rams

I think it’s time to stop calling Brock “limited”

He’s definitely shown enough and played some high quality teams to kinda quell that shot.

And for the “well he’s in a system” folks.

In KYLES years it’s been like over 10 QBs in that system and only one other had success. And some folks hated him

Kinda repeating was someone said on a show today.

Well what successful top QB don’t and didn’t have Weapon? Mahomes had Kelce and Hill, Brady Gronk and co, Hurts got his weapons and so on.
