Not every idea from the comics needs to implemented. Honestly id be more interested in seeing if they're gonna adapt Achebe or Kasper Cole (the Second Black Panther and eventually White Tiger) from Christopher Priest's run.

It was never a good idea TBH. The Writer of the time (Reginald Hudlin) only did it because he was inspired by JayZ/Beyonce marrying and wanted the same "married black excellence" aspect in the Marvel Universe.

Even though Hudlin wasnt the original writer for pairing T'Challa and Storm together, i was never comfortable with the idea because theres not much behind it other than "theyre both African, right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ " . Meeting as youths is one thing, making them a married couple is just pandering. They dont have much shared history or interesting stories between them.

Its the same principle why Superman and Wonder Woman suck as a couple.

Now they're in the process of getting back film rights to their main properties and you think they won't do a Phase 4 wit more movies and the Xmen forming the core that will replace the Avengers and other main characters who actually don't get smoked by the end of Infinity War?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Once they reboot the X-men in the MCU, they either need to go with the OG group as teenagers, or start from Giant Sized X-men #1. Although I could see a movie working that used Kitty Pryde as the point of view character as we're introduced to Storm, Cyclops, Wolverine, and the others.

Although personally, I would rather see a netflix/cable series that goes through all of the eras, starting with the OG X-men as teenagers, then going through the 70s, 80s, and 90s eras over the course of several seasons.
