Well we waited like 4-5 years, 1-2 will be easyIf season four is given the go-ahead by Netflix (which, let’s face it they’d be silly not to), Ashley admits it likely won’t hit screens for a while. So brace yourselves for another long wait...

Might be a dumb question but is watching the old series worth it? Should I start directly by the 2019 version? Is there links between the series or it's just the same name?
On Netflix it is not presented as season 3 of what they call "Top Boy: Summerhouse", but as a standalone show. Which naturally led me to believe it could maybe be a remake or a follow up without heavy scenaristic ties. But just to be sure, I asked.Would you watch the wire or any other series starting from its third season? I refuse to believe nikkas on this site are this retarded.

just watch it from the startoh boy...not this dumb ass stance again...the first two seasons of top boy are only 8 episodes in total and there was a 6 year gap between them and the new season...the creators even went so far as to rename the first 2 seasons to somewhat distinguish it from this new one...on the other hand the first 2 seasons of the wire are 25 episodes across the span of 2 years...long story short one would not be anywhere near as “lost” skipping the first 2 seasons of top boy as they would skipping the first 2 seasons of the wire...it’s a god awful comparison...he should watch it for fun cuz it’s a brief but decent watch...but he should not feel “compelled” to...he’d miss out on some things but not enough to detract from the new season
just watch it from the start

I didn’t read any of this. I know your stance. Everyone here disagreed with you. You are wrong. Don’t tag me again.

I don't think that any of that makes me retarded but it sure was a perfect occasion for you to establish yourself as a dumb nikka KIM and don't quote me again.
I didn’t tag you in the first fukking place...your thirsty ass must have alerts for when ppl respond to you...that’s not my fault
Like 99% of the other non weirdos that post here. Ignore list. Deuces.
Where can I watch this?By the way check out the new film Blue Story. I saw it the other week. I thought it was just gonna be your average, run of the mill, unoriginal hood flick but it's actually quite good. They tried to ban it in some cinemas but after protests, it got reinstated but it's the highest grossing 'urban' movie in the UK to date. It's got Michael in it and that fat dude he was rolling with in Top Boy.
