I see what you’re saying, but it’s in those moments when loyalty is truly shown. I think had Dris given the word to Sully/Dushane it could’ve/should’ve changed things for him for the better. Dushane has a point about Dris being washed and becoming a liability out there so in a fukked up way he brought it on himself. They put Jaq on because she wasn’t out there on some nonsense. Dushane still could’ve handled it much better.

With all that said, it goes back to what brehs said about Dushane in that he’s not a good leader and has trouble managing personalities. Jamie really the best of all these roadmen, his only weakness is inexperience. If he united the fields and summerhouse under one umbrella he’d be that nikka.

I think by the time that happened the damage was already done, because the way he sees it, they clearly demonstrated they don't give a fukk about him, so why be loyal when ultimately everyone is out for themselves anyway.

This is why certain criminal organisations have certain rules about how you treat members (i.e. made guys shouldn't put hands on each other) for the simple fact that shyt like that will cause resentment and dissension and ultimately fukk everything up. Chris from The Sopranos was damn near close to giving the whole thing up when he kept being the butt of everyone's jokes. You might say he was loyal, but he was loyal to the same boss who still ended up killing him in the end regardless.

Yeah and to be honest I'd rather Jamie be the one that comes out the winner cos he's a much better team player and treats his people better, plus he has way more of a reason to be in the game than Dushane does.

Yeah, I can see that. It was a tough place to be in. I still think the dreams Donovan was selling wasn’t enough to make a move like that. Especially considering if things go sour he has a daughter and she’d be affected by that too. I was lowkey a bit surprised he took the route he did but everybody ain’t meant to stay solid.

On the other hand I’m with you. Jamie is by far my favorite character and I’m rooting for him out of all of them. He has the makings of a much better boss than any of them old ass summerhouse nikkaz.

Just finished it great season. Dushane too soft leaves way too many loose ends. Sully got kinda soft after Jason died too, old sully woulda snatched his brothers up later for all that call the cops shyt. Them summer house nikkas are old and done feds or not imo.

Also the plug need to up her security she stayed getting snatched up.:mjlol:.
Jamie got potential but he a sucker for love type nikka and is 0-3 in protecting his bytches bad combo lot of L's await in his future.

All these cats are dirty so the karma is there for them all but I still felt :mjcry:about the Dris stuff. The stroke, his daughter, jaq taking his spot, the general flabbyness. nikka dead on a roof with no shoes on. Depressing

Gotta a few gripes with spoilers:

Does not London have more gun control than places like NYC. All the killings and shootings and 12 only shows up to take down Acid Wash Gene in the last episode. I understand the sensitization but I need my street shows more nonfiction. Very 'Brooklyn webisode like' but I digress.

Speaking of acid face, why did they make his character a cross between the Joker and Riddler. Like how do you overpower the authorities with firepower when the place absolutely prohibits firearms to the public, but whatever.

Dumb how they made Dris flabby and sick and to absolutely betray cats he knows are real killers with a their long history. And for what, not even enough money to get out of the hood. Like he despised them enough to set em up knowing they would have killed him and his daughter down the line.

Why tf did Jaime keep wearing that blue Northface jacket with smoke all around him. Bro is the smartest character on the season but wears the shyt that easily identifies him.

idk...if we had a healthy/formidable dris who was putting in work like he was in S1/S2 then he wouldn’t have been treated the way he was and he wouldn’t have resorted to betraying them...plus if memory serves me right they were going to have him take dushane’s position but just have that summerhouse crew as a new subsidiary to jamie's w/ more “food” coming in w/ dushane and sully out the way...essentially he would’ve been the “top boy” in summerhouse w/ jamie being the main supplier which is pretty much similar to how dushane was running things in S1 w/ his supply coming from the irish dude

it did suck that dris turned traitor but him being in the condition that he was made it plausible and he would’ve definitely been in a greater position than he was to provide for his daughter...it was only a question of whether or not he could trust them to hold their end of the bargain if they were able to successfully take out shane/sully...dude was desperate and the way things were set up made it entirely believable imo even tho I didn’t like that it had to happen to his character...dudes in the game have been betrayed for far less

I liked that the show had the balls to realistically kill off characters that fans of the series were familiar w/ and somewhat attached to even tho I wished they would’ve gone in another direction w/ them (in particular jason and dris)...I strongly suspect tho this was done to kind of bring closure to the side characters from the original seasons and just move on w/ the two main characters and new supporting characters

Let's say acid wash face actually defeated OG Summerhouse, what exactly does that mean for Dris. They'll mock him for being a stroked up snake with even less prospects than before. If he stays down, he becomes rich enough to give his child a future.

His bm I guess is some type of career criminal so for him to throw his life away to leave his only child alone without parents is crazy. Next season is where they could have used his character to betray them where all the envy and money is going to be multiplied.

maybe/maybe not which I stated in my post but that’s the chance he was willing to take bcuz he was desperate...and he was not going to become rich imo if he stayed w/ sully and dushane...sully and dushane would’ve made some serious paper and definitely been rich...jaq would’ve been making some more (enough to be pretty comfortable but not rich imo) and she would be ABOVE dris @ that point...they would’ve kept him around out of a sense of loyalty but I think it’s a huge stretch to say he’d be rich when he would be the #4 “man” @ best...he was being given a chance to be the #1 man @ summerhouse and between his ailment and his daughter he was desperate enough to accept the deal and take a gamble

also here’s the likely scenario if sully/dushane were able to kill jamie and modie w/o dris betraying them...sully/ dushane become sort of like the white guy and the fat dude who were controlling the local drug scene in OG S1...the crew that jamie had beef w/ (where he ended up throwing the guy out the building) would probably step up and deal in jamie's territory but they’d have to get their food from sully/dushane...jaq more than likely runs summerhouse (she’d also get her food from sully/shane obviously) and that basically leaves dris exactly where he was in S1...running around for someone else...to add insult to injury he’d be taking orders from someone who was once under him...it was shytty what he did but I very much understand why and think it plausible even tho I wish he didn’t go that route...in hindsight sticking w/ the team would be better than being dead but he had a chance to be the man in summerhouse no matter how slim it was and he took it
