Dushane's weakness and what I predict will be his downfall is his lack of ability to motivate and create unity among his soldiers

Makes sense too. She didn’t think much of them nikkaz at first because she only knew Dris. Once she seen what type of nikkaz Dushane/Sully were she respected and got in line. Should’ve been treating her like a doja instead of Dris.
I agree. Honestly, I think Jamie is a better leader overall and has much more potential to be a boss. But to be fair, Jamie wasn’t dealing with too many equals whereas Sully and Dris both have their own legit rightful claim to the business with Dushane.
But it’s a common theme for him through the series.

I expected him to be the solid OG that held shyt down while Sully and Dushane were away. He was pretty much that until they made him act outta character in the end. I agree, his character went out sad.
Should’ve been like a three kings dynamic and then just add Jamie as the forth guy next season and have the three OGs look for legit ways out the game while Jamie begins to fully take over.

I'm half way thru... what in thee fukk happened to Dris irl. Bro looked 18 in the 1st two seasons and now looks like a young old Larry Holmes.
Hope everything is right with dude irl. Catching up from the beginning, his character was only the muscle. He didn't have the ability to bring in work or lead.
I hope everything is right with Jason irl too. Looked like hell as a jit and today. I'd be bummed if his character mirrored anyway his real life, yeesh. fukk Ramsgate if any part of the depiction is accurate. That place is worse than any town America has to offer.

Personally I think Dris is getting a bad rap. It's not like he did what he did just because.
Think about it - he's a day one. Dushane went away for years and when he came back, Dris was the one who embraced him and took him in. When Dushane met Sully, it was
"WTF do you want?" That's not the first time Sully reacted to him that way too. Sully was always an insubordinate liability and deserved to get demoted while Dris was always down. Dris had a stroke and suffers from health issues so he was fukked up from that alone. Rather than his boys treat him with respect, they're cracking jokes on him within earshot and telling him to "just do what I tell you" like he's some glorified soldier. It's only when Sully's cousin got in his head and made it known that everybody sees the lack of respect that made him finally wake up and realise they're not his boys anymore....not to mention the fact he threatened Dris anyway and no one else would be there for his little girl since his dumb ass babymother is still locked up.
It's like New Jack City. Why do you think G Money went behind Nino's back to make a side deal? Nino was feeling himself too much and started treating G Money like shyt - fukking his girl, grabbing him up and embarassing him in front of the crew, not acknowledging the fact that if it wasn't for G Money they would have never had the Carter operation in the first place etc.
Constantly disrespecting your higher ups (especially in public) is a recipe for disaster.

I see what you’re saying, but it’s in those moments when loyalty is truly shown. I think had Dris given the word to Sully/Dushane it could’ve/should’ve changed things for him for the better. Dushane has a point about Dris being washed and becoming a liability out there so in a fukked up way he brought it on himself. They put Jaq on because she wasn’t out there on some nonsense. Dushane still could’ve handled it much better.
With all that said, it goes back to what brehs said about Dushane in that he’s not a good leader and has trouble managing personalities. Jamie really the best of all these roadmen, his only weakness is inexperience. If he united the fields and summerhouse under one umbrella he’d be that nikka.
