Kano stepped up his acting I noticed, wasn't just hype - his scenes in I think Southend or Brighton were good and then how he dealt with it when he came back.
Top boy is so fukking official. shyt my barber recommended it to me at first I’m like “

Best original series put out by Netflix this year. This was already critically acclaimed in the UK from previous season(s) but with the Netflix distribution/financing of content creation and Drake's name in it. It probably crossed over to the North American market.
Kind of disappointed that some people initially dismiss it just because it's British (most of those people are likely to be Americans no surprise there) but remember one of the best crime/gangster films of all time was "City of God" entirely in Portuguese.
Gomorrah is probably the best gangster series going on right now and is better than Snowfall in my opinion and this is from a dude who knows nothing about the Italian mafia culture back in Italy and has been inundated with crack era tales from rap music to movies like Paid in Full.
Not saying Snowfall is bad but Gomorrah is that well done. Glad to see Top Boy also getting the exposure for the great work.
