Fubu was overrated
Phat Farm and Parasuco (sp)
I will admit I was heavy on PF(and BOSS, Mecca,ENYCE)back in 98-99,When JIm Jones was on EYL Speaking on Real EC Fashion I felt it cause I was the Outsider Target(When I touched NYC I was headed to The Phat Farm Store in Times Square)that thought that stuff was the actual Hip Hop Trend

I used to see this on display at the Norfolk NEX along with the echo shirts .bout as bad as buying the winter caps with the brim lol

You mean the fu la la Lauren hill beanie?

before it was in the Asian hair bootleg store hat.
In window of the weave store, on a mannequin.

That hat was Crack.
I used to get stopped in every ghetto mall.
for that hat with the matching doo rag back in rhe late nineties.
Or with the marching ski goggles.

I even had an oil skin goretex one from orvis in 1997.
With the world War two goggles like phantom menace.

I did love my Bugs,Porky & Daffy as TLC Tee in Elementary:mjcry:

You were a kid.

Hiphop was so segregated and far from mainstream then.
Plus your gen was sheltered because of crack. You was not looked at like that. You probably crushed the other kids tho.

Now if you was in high school and commercial. You was sckraight.

If you were a bboy. That was a no go. You were a duck.

Lemme be specific. I am speaking as a bboy.

Commercial, ghetto, house or gangsta...
You was in style tho.

You mean?

The sweater vest version of rhe tajai white sweater in 93 to infiniti video.

Toys ruined this vest originally.
When the prison industrial economy and communications act made rap mainstream and commercial.

Then got a popular nostalgic revisit.
In the jiggy badboy mase era?

You know what killed Karl Kani?

When My Brother & Me came out. LOL
it was a decent enough TV show, but Goo was killin' everybody with it. He rocked all the chit
that they had in the stores, so you couldn't really rock it without lookin' like you was a biter.

A lot of the Chaps stuff sold in the price range of Polo at Macys & Bloomingdales way back

List is legit but he forgot the knockoff of Hilfiger, TOMMY GEAR :skip:
That Tommy Gear wave cap. Rofl

Nothing wrong with Southpole and Chaps. Should have replaced that woth US Polo Association
