Yes. Even when he wasn't in the bubble, he underperformed this year. He can still shutdown the likes of Embiid though.
Y'all gonna love Baynes. One of the best signings of the offseason.

He's 33 already though
One of his strengths.
He has a tough demeanor (which is going to be a breath of fresh air after Ibaka/Gasol), immovable on the block, good at contesting and deterring shots in the paint, and is a good communicator on the PnR. He isn't the best defending out on the perimeter, but there aren't too many guys his size that are.
He's the type of defender that Lowry is going to love. I can see them developing a good relationship on both ends of the floor, particularly on offense where Baynes has developed a 3; I foresee a lot of possessions where Lowry drives into the teeth of the defense and kicks it back out to Baynes above the break.
