For me it means that they don’t think Hernandez can play yet. Bembry is definitely an in case of injury guy and again, he can shoot. Raptors will not employ anybody who can’t shoot it seems.

minus van vleet raps just giving out two year deals

at the moment only siakam and van vleet have a fully guranteed contract beyond the next two years (no way powell picks up that 11 player option). Guys on two year contracts are easy to move in trades, if it came down to it, baynes, bembry, can easily be packaged and moved

I like bembry alot . He's not a star or full of potential but he's the typa guy that adds to winning culture imo. Kinda guy who does a bit of everything

Look at free agency not a lot of options besides boogie and whiteside and those won't happen because masai wanna spend as little money as possible. It's very likely he will be a third stringer anyways and he wasn't expensive so who cares

Too early to say it means anything....It could mean he knows Giannis is signing the supermax so no point waiting for his (they share agents)

Masai has to make deals this year and clear more cap to get a 2nd guy...I dont feel Giannis is gonna turn down the supermax to play with Siakam and Van Vleet.

I feel this year is already done. 2021 offseason is the real indicator of our future.

He's gonna need some big signings lined up for 2021, with or without Giannis.
