All these bloggers thinking OG can ascend to MIP/All-Star this season need to temper their expectations. He's a 3+D wing, nothing else.

Bembry is making a lot of good decisions today, you can see what they like about him.

Assinine to be calling OG an all star his offense is nowhere near an all star level for that to be a rationale thought...tbh his defense is kinda ass tonight too...I hate when over fouls shooters...

I don't get it either. He can barely dribble the ball, what makes them think he'll make that gigantic leap

@Guess Who Flynn is special...hes got aspects of his game right now that Fred still dont have in his tool kit (floater)

That defense is special and hes casually pulling up and hitting 3s effortlessly...hard not to think what he might be.

I think we need to sell high on Fred and Powell to make room for Flynn. Dude is arguably our third or fourth best player already.

I’m absolutely impressed with Flynn. Dude is 3 or 4 inches of height away from being a perennial all star. His feet on defence are special as is his confidence running the team. He elevates both sides of the floor whenever he’s in the game. He’s going to steal Powell’s minutes by mid season.

Bembry will also thankfully take all of McCaw’s minutes. He’s just a better player.

On the other hand, Boucher is playing himself out of the rotation this preseason. He has not looked good at all.

Our center position is really weak.

One thing I’m starting to notice is FVV and Siakam have poor on court chemistry. In particular, FVV doesn’t know when to give up the fukking ball. He always dribbles himself into trouble and rarely makes the right read. I was surprised to see him find Siakam in the dunker’s spot on one play and I think TD making a baseline cut on another. Those are very uncharacteristic of his typical tunnel vision. The fact that FVV takes and makes a lot of ill-advised pull-up threes hides a lot of his weaknesses as an offensive player. I hope we move him.

As for Siakam, dude has zero confidence in the midrange or the wing and does not want initiate from either position. Dude needs the whole side cleared out to be effective at anything beyond threes. He has to learn to slow down, be patient and to let plays develop instead of forcing the ball into crowds.
