Gotta call foul on you homie. That last gif is from hard boiled:ufdup:

I know but killa and woo is the only guy you knew back then.
that made those types of movies.
everybody did not have or was not going to keep spending that 14.99.
to get the new issue of the import Chinese movie magazine.
that had the ad to give you the gateway to this shyt.
Plus it was expensive as fukk and you could not just go anywhere to get these movies back then.
It was the mags or some Elmhurst face ass remote location specialty show, or the grand theatre.
We not talking in retrospect of after they came on cable.
I am talking about when, you could get or see these movie when they first made available AND were subtitled.
as it is a a whole lot of people who got played ordering this shyt and had it outta order and have that shyt in some Asian dialect.
So, when you see hard boiled came out at the theatre on grand.
Knowing all this shyt and you finally get to see this shyt.
as it was intended in a theatre.
Especially the enfamous grand movie theatre.
When you later leave the theatre and see that set of stairs.

You go right back to being a kid again.
Like with moms.
So, spare me the criticism.
I got more nostalgia at play than you in this list shyt breh.
I been doing this list shyt for like twenty years next September.

In that order?

More or less. I forgot about, Empire Strikes Back. I'd probably put that at number two and get rid of Lethal Weapon.

Coming to America
Empire Strikes Back
Trading Places
They Live
Akira
Die Hard
Scarface
Predator
Rambo - First Blood
Mad Max - Road Warrior

Looking at all the postings, and noticing the movies I failed to mention, I'm confident in my list, without second guessing.

Maybe swap out Goonies for The Last Dragon, but I'm good :lupe:

It's a lose remake of the first one since they lost the rights to the first movie, which is why his new girl is there and his friends aren't. A lot of legal shyt went down between making the first one and other things Sam wanted to make so when he came back to it, shyt wasn't all good. So he never left anywhere because it's basically a do over
Man fukk that movie :camby: Is Evil Dead 3 any good?

7. Coming to America
8. Airplane!
9. Poltergeist
10. The Blues Brothers

HM
11. TRON - originally 10, but I had to take it off to make room for Stand By Me
12. Back to the Future
13. Die Hard
14. Trading Places
15. Lethal Weapon 2
16. A Christmas Story
17. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure

I don't know if they'd ever be considered top 80's movies, but two that I really like are The Vanishing and The Serpent and the Rainbow.
