The line up is understandable. They barely have the money for more shyt. Did anybody really expect them to go all out at the start?

Better ratings= more content. The original Toonami went through the same thing.

And let's be real, the new Toonami is going to be better than whatever Adult Swim has on Saturday so I'm not complaining.

DMWL is a good series. I'd rank it somewhere in the 7.5-8/10 range. I still havent watched Casshern Sins.
The schedule has been officially announced: Adult Swim's Toonami Block to Air Casshern Sins, Deadman Wonderland (Updated) - News - Anime News Network

I'm fine with no DBZ or Naruto, but this seems really half-assed already. I see no reason this should do better than the current Saturday line up (especially since it's essentially the same, just with two new shows).

And no Peter Cullen? :sadbron::damn:
You gotta understand that [AS] and Toonami both had a lot of reruns back in the day. Shows like Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, DBZ, etc were ran numerous times which since it costs a lot to license these shows. They only pick up new series every 2-3 years.

I think they just picked up two new shows last year. So if the ratings are good we might see something new next year.
I was just hoping for some shows I never heard of :manny:

IMO Funimation did a hell of a job on the new One Piece dub. They kept the original japanese music and didn't change anything like Zoro's name or make pointless edits to try and tame a show that isn't that violent to begin with.

DBZ fans should keep in mind that Christopher Sabat and Sonny Strait pretty much replicate their Piccolo and Krillin voices for Zoro and Usopp.

I've bought the first 5 collections and plan on collecting them all. (Since the series shows no sign of ending soon now I'll probably buying them when I'm :flabbynsick:)

I'm surprised this topic was made. Aren't some of you a little too old to be watching cartoons?
