If the Braves win more than 55 games this season they should consider the season a success.

Edit: Haven't heard one yet, But could someone give me a real reason
for why the Braves are moving to Suntrust Park?

the very first baseball game i seen was the braves vs the astros way back in the late 80's been a fan ever since
but honestly i can't say i've watched more than 10 games combined in the last 3 seasons just simply due to the :scust::damn::mindblown: factor and i'm not doing it to myself this year :to:

I posted this in the MLB Random Thoughts thread:

I'm conflicted. The Braves claim that the City of Atlanta didn't want to pony up the $200 plus million to upgrade & renovate the stadium & surrounding areas (the area around Turner Field is the hood). The City wanted to put money up but at that same time the Falcons stadium issue was also going on and MayorReed put his energy into supporting that new stadium. Cobb County came through with a sweetheart deal and gave the Braves literally everything they wanted plus tax breaks. The City would not & could not compete with that Cobb offer so the Braves left. Looking back at I see why they did it...their reasoning was that they're "closer" to their "fans" :mjpls:, but I hate it, I hate they're leaving the city, even tho they're only gonna be 9 miles away from Turner Field now

Hopefully this will get Freddie G fired.

It won't

Everybody and they momma know this team (Currently) is a bag of horse shyt.
Right now their focusing on building up their farm system and old Bobby Cox
method that worked out perfectly (On Paper) for them in the 90's

11 Straight NL East Titles
1 WS

The Braves wont be a good team until 2019 - 2020

Braves’ poor start reaches Liberty Media stockholder meeting

We're screwed brehs. Liberty Media could give 2 flying fukks about the Braves or Atlanta. These Cacs out in Colorado cracking jokes about it in the share holders meeting. They more concerned with the real estate around the new stadium than the product on the field. With owners like this I really don't have any hope shyt will turn around even with them building the farm system back up. My only hope is that they sell the team after they make they money back off Sun Trust Park.

Multiple reports from Virginia say Atlanta Braves left fielder Hector Olivera has been arrested for alleged involvment in a domestic dispute.

Reports say a female called 911 early Wednesday from the team hotel to report an assault. ABC7 reported the female victim had bruises and was transported to Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Va.

Olivera was at a Ritz-Carlton and was taken into custody. He has not been charged.

Braves officials declined to comment.

I HATE this team brehs :snoop:
