Nah breh. This team is 1000% a lot more to be excited about than last year. We didn't have shyt but past their prime or just plain washed castoffs (EY Jr, Trevor Cahill, etc). Our farm system is top 5 and we actually have major league talent that'll last more than one season with the team. After that Arizona trade, I'm confident in Coppy's ability to turn this franchise back into a winner. There's meaning behind all those deals that hurt so much (Kimbrel, Simmons, Heyward). Yall don't realize we fleeced St Louis, hell and Arizona too (twice including the Gosselin for Touki deal) just off that Heyward for Miller deal

An ATL Coli Meetup at a Braves game is more realistic than anything....what yall tryna do?

I actually met up with the breh @NY's #1 Draft Pick last season at a Marlins game
I like last year's team better

To each his own...

It seems like every Braves fan I know personally (Coli, homies, etc) have no good things to say about this year's squad :what:

Only people who have good things to say are the folks I keep up with on a podcast I check out and a few other sites I frequent :mjpls:

I like the farm system but this team is Philadelphia 76ers bad. We got two good players. Freeman and Teheran. Three maybes in Oliveia, Aybar and the CF then the rest of the team is AAAA.

A Buckeye State Of Mind
:beli:

Breh the Braves have won no championships there & have been styled on there by other teams in the playoffs for their entire 20 year existence
Maybe no titles but but the beginning of that stadium still had Greg,Tommy, and John:ohlawd: Not to mention guys like Chipper in the lineup. I know it hasn't been the same for you guys since that squad got broken up but those were fun teams to watch.

The 76ers don't even have that
So much history at Turner Field:mjcry:

A lot of personal history for me and the team with the 2nd half of the division streak being there.

Plus, that's where I remember going to my first game back in 97. Braves vs Mets, I still have the Turner Field inaugural season pennant. I got a TON of memories. I went to plenty of games dolo, plus been to a handful with other people. Often times goin to Daddy Dz or the KFC that used to be across the street. My brother worked on the grounds crew for a couple seasons, hell Jason Heyward backed into my truck while my brother was driving it. :stopitslime:

I remember running the bases there as a youngin, going to the FanFest, just a whole lot about that stadium. Definitely gonna miss going down there

I probably went to one in FCS but I can't recall

I'm gonna miss seeing the stadium lit at night driving thru the city, that was always an iconic image for me...it won't be the same driving thru the city and not seeing it lit up

I don't doubt that the future will be good, but this year will be a disaster to watch.
