The coli knows no limit when turning a topic into race, I mean I think racial issues should always be up for discussion but do guys ever get tired of talking about it. It's fukking nascar for gods sake and people are saying if he was black such and such would of happened.

They can be gun-ho about a story as small-scale as a lebron diet cuz accountability doesn't play a huge role in it. A dude getting hit by a car on a track is a little more sensitive an issue. I don't see anything wrong with ESPN taking their time with the story. What is reporting it immediately in real time going to change? It's not gonna bring any more justice to the situation. I'd rather get my news later with full accuracy than reactionary speculation. You had dudes in here talking like dude wasn't dead at first, like Tony Stewart was in his car ready to race the next day, both of which didn't happen. What's wrong with taking time to accurately cover a story? People are so spoiled these days and want things immediately
You guys are missing the point discretion is fine but should only death require it? espn will run with stories that can potentially ruin a persons career /life and don't give a fukk about that except in instances where it involves say a Big Ben who mysteriously they didn't want to report about . They should generally use this type of discretion in all sensitive areas

Stewart seems like a grade A jerk.

That statement he made about not racing today b/c it's an "emotional time" proves it.

nah fool, you just KILLED a 20year old kid, racing 12 hours later should be the least of your concerns whether it was a freak accident or not.

I think Stewarts only defense can be that he "didnt see the kid until the last second, then tried to swerve and hit him on accident"

Not saying I buy that, but....

I can't buy the story that it was an accident when you hear Stewart step on the gas right before he hits Ward. You wouldn't speed up in a situation like that, on a dirt track where the handling is a little loose to begin with, to avoid hitting a person.

Stewart is a notorious hot-head/prick too and I'm pretty sure he's had mandatory anger management counseling before.
