Why won't there be? Not targeting you, just curious. Another driver got out of the way. It was a red flag which means you are mandated to drive a certain speed, not gun it pass the accident. Hell, in real life you'd be arrested for gunning it past a crash site. Hate using that parallel but it's the truth. Just cause it happened on a track doesn't make it right. Both sides have some responsibility in the final action but Stewart had to have known better breh.

When the kid got out his car Tony became exempt from all Legal charges.

Only the kids family or friends can get "street justice" from this point forward.

He ran into this dude on purpose according to multiple witnesses and killed him

Doubt he will spend a day in jail

Yeah, reading reports that spectators said he throttled his engine as he approached him. He definitely meant to clip him. Stewart's always been an a$$hole and hothead on the track. This is manslaughter, but you're right, it won't lead to any jail time for him. This is good ol' boy shyt that will get swept under the rug as an "accident".

Yea, he probably tried to scare him then killed him on accident.

But there won't be any Legal consequences for Tony to suffer.

The only revenge will come from what the kids family or friends is willing to do.
So pointing a gun at someone and accidentally shooting them doesn't bring any legal recourse?

Him getting out his car to confront Tony is like someone breaking into your house and you shooting them.

So once again there will be no legal issues for Tony here

He will probably pay off the kids family because he knows they will be looking for revenge.

RIP to Kevin Ward.

Beyond any codes and driving rules, this should not of happened and shouldn't be tolerated. No he shouldn't have been on the track but in no way should that excuse the consequence of Tony Stewarts decision.

It reminds me of the Todd Bertuzzi/Steve Moore incident and that one piece of shyt and Donald Brashear in the NHL. No matter what is happening in the heat of the moment, you don't deserve the benefit of the doubt when that's how you choose to react. Of course the intention wasnt the end game, but your choice led to a life altering or ending and you shouldn't be able just to be remorseful about it and move on

Tony Stewart had to have seen him out of. The car and had plenty of time to be out of the way but he wanted to send him another little message and miscalculated and killed a guy. I know Tony Stewart didn't TRY and kill him, but he did. Legally, he'll probably be pretty safe, but society and companies like NASCAR need to stop giving the benefit of the doubt to those who make choices that are reckless and irresponsible. We've all been in the heat of the moment and had those choices to make. Most of us make better ones then what he did and shouldn't make excuses for it.

Tony Stewart will not race in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race after he struck and killed sprint car driver Kevin Ward Jr., who had climbed from his car and was on the track trying to confront Stewart during a race in upstate New York on Saturday night.
