Wake.
I honestly just think ESPN doesn't have the personnel available to them. All the decision makers probably in bed (or were anyway), they have no person live on the scene because the NASCAR race in the area is on another network, and I don't even know if they can show the video because it is a death. I mean they can atleast update the situation and let people know dude died as a result of his injuries but even after that what else can they say about it?

I could sorta understand not being all over it if it was say a fan or something, but you have well known race car driver possibly murdering another during a race. shyt is front page.

It's unfathomable. People not doing their jobs.

I've worked in sports journalism for over a decade...and if a big story breaks overnight...you wake up and go cover that shyt. That's part of the job. It sucks. But it's the job. They can get video of the press conference from the ABC affiliate in the area. I know they can. There's no excuses right now. It's bad form.

They are Disney, as is ABC, which has an affiliate at the site. At the least, run video of the press conference. Reaction can wait for tomorrow ABSOLUTELY, but the news should not have to wait when we have so many FACTS!

he cant even be at the track you gotta force that a$$hole to lay low. realistically he should be charged with something at the very least by morning. even if he was just trying to gas the car to put a scare into him as a dikk move and it fishtailed into him on accident its clearly a charge of some kind

This feels like a dream. Like, this is the most surreal sports story in a long minute. Pistorius comes to mind ... But this is bigger, IMO (because Tony has been one of the biggest names in racing for idk 20 years?).
