Half of what makes wrestling special is the crowd reaction....so them putting on a clinic in a 2/3s empty arena hurts the match.

This is why these "dream matches" are so limiting. If there's no story behind a match and it just becomes about putting on an entertaining match then you're just performing for neckbeard this is awesome chants. It's not about winning the match, it just becomes performane art.
