For the most part he said and did what was expected from that GMA interview....except the reason he gave for why he was comfortable saying it.
Lets be real, if he does say the word, it probably is because he's around Tampa and that Florida trash where all those redneck whiteboys who wanna be black say it to be cool (Coupled with their pappy's racist ways) But that's the last 20 years or so, and you've seen Hogan's arrested development the past 10 years over there hanging out with his son and shyt.
It definitely aint cause he grew up as a youngster saying it, he says it hanging out with those Florida club kids in his 50s
As for everything else, eh I guess. In my mind he could have used this as an opportunity to say seriously why he was comfortable saying the word, what he's learn since then about why that mentality is a mistake and the consequences. But that's probably asking a bit too much of Hogan and out of his element.
He still has work to do but he'll never get back the people who know what its like to be at the recievening end of that slur, even though he could he wont do what's needed, that's out of his element (and WWE's too)
