- Wrestled Andre The Giant 3 days before he died.I find it impossible to believe Hogan and his crew were calling each other the "N" word back in the day just another thing to add to that list of :hulktales:
" Yeah? It's okay to be racist anywhere. As a racist, I shouldn't have to hide my face just because people aren't tolerant of my beliefs."
I agree with this person, feel free and be racist. Loudly, proudly, Openly. Please. Free speech and all the other cliches and talking points.
I wanna know EXACTLY who these people are since if you go by social media they're everywhere.
Plus "free speech" is just that. Free speech. it doesn't absolve you from any repercussions stemming from use of that speech.
Why is it so hard for this dude to just shut up. When you're in a hole, stop digging.
There's so much fukkery going on right now and people sadly forget and move on so fast but being the attention whore he is he can't just hush up and let nostalgia take its course as it unfortunately could salvage parts of Hulkamania.
During an interview with ABC (which aired on Good Morning America and Nightline), Hulk Hogan was asked if he inherited a racial bias.
He said: “I would say that is very fair. The environment I grew up in….all my white friends, all my black friends, to hear that word on a daily basis. That’s how they would greet me in the morning. ‘Good morning, so and so.’ I think it was part of the culture and the environment that I grew up in.”
Now those in his hometown of Tampa are upset by what he said. One resident who grew up with Hogan, Linda Bryant, said: “That was not the culture when Terry grew up here. Terry was the first guy to ever be a role model for this neighborhood and he had the kids wrapped around his finger. He had the biggest fan base you ever could imagine and he did nothing with it.”
Another neighbor added that his children grew up next to Hogan’s house. He said: ““There was a time this area was poor but we didn’t say that word. My daughters not like that. My sons not like that.”
Finally, another neighbor concluded: “If you said it then own it.”
