Just watched the movie.... And I think I liked and appreciated more because I recently played and beat the video game....

Movie was based off the video game damn near verbatim..... They did a good job imo....

Finally saw it. That movie was by far better than the Jolie joint. And the best of the nee wave female led titles. The female lead character felt real and not ovepowered. The male characters were not bumbling idiots. All and all very entetaining movie and I hope it gets a sequel

This new one is an origin story. It's alright, I enjoyed it.

After I posted I read a review about the difference between the 2. The new Lara character really turned me off. Jolie was bad ass.

I tried watching this one, but turned it off after a half hour or so. I just wasn’t into it. I think I’ll just hold off longer.
