If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Aight hopefully he signs the LOI the day after visiting.. would give me some peace of mind with the receiving core although I think Kermit just might breakout..

Our WR's are going to be fine. Isaiah Jones is going to be a star down the line. Don't believe me, just watch.

In the little action he saw this season, I saw some promising things. I feel good about him with a full year under his belt, spring camp, etc. Really excited about Jones.

Anyone know anything about Christian Griffith? I remember looking at the roster before the season and seeing another 6'6 guy on there.

I stole this from The-Mainboard:

Weekend Wrap

Florida State hosted a total of 6 official visitors on campus this weekend. Three commits and three targets were on campus this weekend. The FSU commits that visited were 3-Star DEBlake McClain, 4-Star DT Demarcus Christmas, and 4-Star LB Jacob Pugh. The uncommitted targets were 5-Star DE Chad Thomas (Miami commit), 5-Star WR Malachi Dupre and 5-Star DELorenzo Carter.
As always, it was an overall success in terms of Florida State putting on a great "show" for all the visitors. Since the trio of five-star targets have previously spent so little time on FSU's campus, head coach Jimbo Fisher was heavily involved in those particular visits. Head coaches are only allowed one off-campus in-person visit, which makes this type of face-to-face time very important this time of year.
Another highlight on the weekend was the presence of former FSU great Myron Rolle. The Rhodes Scholar spoke to the official visitors on Saturday at a luncheon. I'm told Rolle had an inspiring speech and chatted with each of the recruits individually. Rolle is always a great representative of Florida State because of what he accomplished on the field as a player and off the field as a student. That kind of message carries weight with prospects, but tends to make a major impression on the more academically-minded parents.
Now on to the details on what we're hearing after the visit weekend with the specific prospects. All the visits went great, so we're going to cut to the chase and get to what you all want to know -- where are they going!?
** When I spoke to 5-Star DE Chad Thomas after his visit to FSU he was very short with his responses and didn't give me much in terms of quotes. He did say that there was "no change" in his recruitment and I took that to mean he was still firm to the 'Canes. But I also figured that even if he was going to flip, he'd play it coy with me.
In order to figure out what was really going on I checked in with some sources in Miami and the overwhelming feedback I got was that Thomas is solid to Miami. I also learned that Thomas visited FSU by himself. If Thomas was going to make a late flip to FSU, I'd have to believe that his parents, who are involved in his recruitment, would make the trip with him.
I think FSU had nothing to lose with bringing Thomas in this weekend. They were a longshot going in and they took their best shot, but in the end I see him signing with Miami.
** 5-Star DE Lorenzo Carter's had a great visit. A source close to the family tells me they were all very impressed by Carter's host, linebacker Terrance Smith. I did not know this, but I'm told Smith is one of the most well liked and well known players on campus. My source said walking around town with Smith was like being with the "Mayor of Tallahassee" and that he's "just a likable guy".
Smith spent the most time with Carter as far as the players go. Charles Kelly and Sal Sunseri were the coaches that spent the most time with Carter and his family. Carter was joined on the visit by his father, mother and sister.
I've always felt that Carter is most likely headed to Georgia, but the darkhorse in this race is Florida State. I continue to feel that way. I can't say that FSU moved past UGA, but I believe the 'Noles will be in this one till the end because of Charles Kelly's relationship with Carter and his family.
This week Jimbo Fisher will go in-home for a visit with Carter and his family. There is still a lot of game left here, we're in the fourth quarter of Carter's recruitment, but not quite to the two-minute warning. I should have a good idea of where Carter is going after his in-home with Fisher.
** 5-Star WR Malachi Dupre has been anticipating his official visit to Florida State for months. The Louisiana wide receiver has not been shy on twitter about his interest in the 'Noles and specifically quarterback Jameis Winston, who was Dupre's personal host for the weekend.
Dupre drove to Tallahassee with his family, his entire family. Mom, dad, two brothers and Malachi all made the trip across I-10. As I said earlier in the Chad Thomas update, the amount of family members on the visit can sometimes tell the story of whether the trip is for fun or if a recruit is serious about a school.
In this case, the staff did a great job with Dupre's family. I'm told by a good source that his older brothers would like to see him at FSU. I do not know if his parents have a preference of schools.
In last week's recruiting chat I said that I thought it was LSU, UCLA and FSU for Dupre, in that order. My stance has changed after this visit. I still have LSU on top, but I think the only team that would be able to bump them would be FSU. It'll come down to LSU or FSU.
Jimbo Fisher visited Dupre last week. This week I'm expecting Dupre to get his final in-home visit from wide receivers coach Lawrence Dawsey.

More Notes:

** Last week we reported that Charles Kelly and Jimbo Fisher visited 5-Star CB Marlon Humphrey. Former FSU defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt was the lead recruiter on Humphrey. We've learned that Kelly and Tim Brewster have been in regular contact with Humphrey. The pair of FSU coaches are teaming up to recruit Humphrey down to the wire. I expect them to visit Humphrey and his father later in the week.
** I wouldn't be surprised if Florida State distances themselves from current wide receiver commit CJ Worton. While on his visit to UF this weekend Worton was tweeting at Travis Rudolphand asking him to come visit UF with him.
This didn't impress the Florida State staff.
A source tells me that he wouldn't expect to see Worton at FSU for his visit this weekend. At this time I can't say if FSU has pulled Worton's offer or not. We'll know the answer to that this weekend.
** I've confirmed that defensive line commit Dexter Wideman will visit Florida State this weekend. He's announcing between the 'Noles and the Gamecocks on Signing Day. There was some talk that South Carolina was going to talk him out of his visit to FSU. They weren't able to and my gut says that he'll sign with FSU.
** An update on another defensive line commit, Arthur Williams. There has been talk of grade concerns. Today I spoke to a source close to Williams that tells me his semester just ended and grades haven't been posted yet. He's close on grades and the FSU staff should have a much better idea of where Williams stands once the grades are posted. We will update you guys when we know more.
** This weekend Chris Nee reported that running back commit Jonathan Vickers took an official visit to Cal. I'm told the staff knew about the trip and didn't have an issue with it. No need to be concerned about Vickers.
** I don't really know what to say about 4-Star CB JC Jackson. His dad says the visit to FSU is off, but JC and his mom told the staff as late as last Friday that the visit was on. I'm sure this week full of rumors of the visit being on and off. The FSU staff will visit Jackson on Wednesday. I maintain that if Jackson visits FSU, I believe he'll flip, but this recruitment is far too unpredictable to predict with any sort of confidence.
** I've made several calls to key sources regarding Florida State quarterback commit Treon Harris. In short, I'm still confident that he signs with FSU. I'm told that he remained in contact with the FSU staff during his visit to Auburn. Based on what I know, I would not Crystal Ball Harris anywhere else.
** Quick note on 2015 running back recruiting... FSU wants to land big backs next year. I'm hearing there are two backs that are emerging as top targets - 4-Star Jacques Patrick and 4-StarKerryon Johnson.
Patrick visited FSU last weekend and this week I'm expecting an FSU coach to be at one of Johnson's basketball games. Patrick weighed in at 227-pounds at FSU. The staff is recruiting him as a running back all the way and I'm told they believe he'll play around 235-240 once he gets into a college strength program. Jimbo Fisher has been very heavily involved in Patrick’s recruitment and that has made a strong impression on the in-state prospect.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
From Warchant and the poster Erie:

Chad Thomas will announce on NSD and FSU completely threw their best foot forward and I now think we have a better shot at Chad then we do Lorenzo, and Lorenzo is 50/50. Yup, I just said that. We will have to see how he feels in a few days and after he visits Bama but if NSD was this week I would have to project the switch. So that's the DE's. I feel we can now say we land 1/2 of them. (As of today)

Myron Rolle is such a great Seminole that it makes me so proud to have graduated from the same university as him. He represents us so well and recruits are drawn to him. Remember his efforts this weekend if we land any of the big three from this weekend. Seriously, he deserves a ton of credit and all he did was be himself and talk about his own experiences. It is so fulfilling to see how impressed recruits are with his academic successes. It is refreshing that he makes it cool to work hard and improve your intellect.

Here is the "big one," I will be very surprised if Dupre isn't in this class. FSU might have done their best recruiting job with him, ever? Jameis is so damn good at recruiting and he doesn't even recruit. He just kicks it with these guys. We all know the two of them talk very often, that amount will drastically increase now. Jameis is his big brother, his mentor, his friend and someone who truly cares about him. This friendship will not go away if we don't land him, but I have no idea how he will turn Heisman down. The pitch was work harder than you ever have and you can make a splash in college football as a freshman. You have the QB encouraging him in this way. There are no guarantees just proof that hard work that is adopted and not forced is rewarded here. Does he want to go to LSU and break in a new QB or play with the best one in college and have him as your mentor and brother. Jameis knows a thing or two about leaving your home state and making the difficult decision, does anyone think that will come into play here? I do. Maybe Dupre will come back down from his cloud in a few days but I doubt it. His family sounds like they truly support his decision and feel comfortable with Jimbo and FSU. I heard a rumor that Dupre wants Jameis to stick around college football longer than one more year and that's not the impression I get. He wants what's best for Jameis and there is no selfishness in any fashion. I'm sure we all want Jameis to stay forever but that isn't realistic, we should want him to go set the world on fire and I'm pretty sure he is going to do just that. Jameis looked great by the way. I don't think he gained any bad weight at all. That's just something for people who don't get to see him to talk about. I am damn happy to be a Nole, and if anyone really concentrates on any negative at all currently it is about them not us.

-----------------------------------

Man, I think we get Dupre. I've felt like that for awhile, but I think FSU is really where he wants to be. If we do get him, I'm going to be walking around like:

Anybody can get it. :birdman:
