Random ass thoughts:
* Cam Erving did his thing. He locked Beasley the fukk down. Vic was a non-factor.
* I wouldn't even play JWJ against NCST. We won't need him. Let him heal up this week and be ready for UM.
* Greene is a fukking man. Telvin is a fukking man. Joyner balled out. The DL balled out. Hell, even CJ did his thing. Respect to all them boys on D.
* Jameis really might be Jesus. Dude does all this with a flicked ass finger. I have no idea how he throws the football.
* Sometimes you get a player in college and they just raise the collective ability of the entire team by themselves via some weird osmosis: Tebow was like that, Vick was like that in college, Vince Young was too, and Jameis is as well.
*Nick has come into his own this season. He's not trying to hurdle muhfukkas anymore and stuff.
* We could've beaten them by more. We had a lot of lil' penalties that took us off schedule on downs when we were moving the ball. I'd say we left 10 points out there. I actually like this, though. It will give Jimbo and Co. teaching points over the next week to keep the team grounded.
* Our Kickoff and punt coverage could be better.
* Rashad has that next man speed. He's just fast enough to outrun whoever is chasing him.
* I want Christian Green to get a touchdown, damn.
* Kermit is a fukking blur.
* Kelvin had some sick ass grabs tonight. If he comes back next year.
All in all, an amazing performance. I really thought we would play well and win by double digits, based on Jimbo's behavior and demeanor; him allowing all-access to ESPN before the game, his statements after practice and such. For us that follow the team as closely as we do, we know how much of a control freak he is, and he doesn't do anything unless he's comfortable. From all that, I could tell he thought we were going to handle them. But, this even exceeded my expectations.. The NCST game is going to be turnt up, can't wait.
