But then where are you getting your iron, B12, and creatine phosphate if you're not eating any poultry? If you plan on being remotely athletic then why would you deprive yourself of those three micronutrients?i can't even explain for real with out going over brehs heads. but to make it simple. meat is an inefficient way to get the elements the body needs. and all my knowledge pertains to black folks specifically i don't care about any non blacks health

A potato is already bottom on the totem pole when it comes to vegetables, nutrition-wise. While technically a root veggie, its starchiness and ultra-high glycemic index makes it actually much closer to a refined grain product than something you should eat consistently every day.
On top of that, frying anything causes the fat content and caloric value to skyrocket, and they're also loaded with salt. So its basically taking one thing that is not super healthy to begin with, and adding a bunch of fat and salt. On top of all that, potato chips arent very filling so people tend to eat a lot more than they realize.

Be it Atkins diet, 8hr diet, or eating foods like whole grains that fill you up. You are reducing caloric intake...period.

His general seems to be about the habits you are teaching kids which is pretty hard to argue. Soda and high sugar cereal shouldn't be a staple of a child's diet.
cereal has gluten & alot of sugar in it. Best "cereal" to eat is to go to your local farmers/amish market and cop some organic granolas put it in a bowl with almond milk. @ u nikkas still thinking wheaties is a breakfast of champions. We in the information age so its no excuse to be negligent of this info.I get it. But people are sooo annoying and up in other people food now in days. People calling Taco Bell dog meat etc like they better than other people for not eating there like they the oracle of health. People hate bullying...but clown people on food everyday, lol. Cereal are all whole grain and fortified. It's a good tasting vitamin. Soda is only bad cause of the high fructose corn syrup being bad on your liver & body...better to drink beer (easier on liver at moderate amounts)

using these fit athletes to promote McDonald's and all these other products that are not healthy is disingenuous. These are people that take their nutrition really serious, yet they are promoting "food" with tons of chemicals and loaded with sugar to the public.
