winner of Bud vs Spence should he p4p #1
Caneko was never on the list in the first place until Loma lost the fight then all of a sudden he magically is #1 and Inoue was suddenly top 3 after going life and death with a past his prime Donaire...lol. Pay attention to racism...this Chris Mannix c0ck sucker is very irritating and even he couldn't cheer lead Canelo last night.

:mjcry:

:mjlol:Absolutely everybody had Canelo as a favorite damn near. And the only reason he is jumping all these weight divisions is because he avoiding the ones where all the boxers the people WANT him to face are. The black and Mexican ones :jawalrus: Nobody wanted this fight. Nobody has wanted any of his last couple fights. Nobody wants to see him fight a 40 year old GGG again either :hhh: He more favored in this fight than the Vegas odds would have been vs Andre or Charlo or Benevedez. Stop it. He was supposed to win tonight and weight had absolutely nothing to do with it. He is a stiff power puncher whose Achilles heel is facing mobile fighters. His boxing pedigree is limited and had to rely on traps vs a SMARTER fighter. Not to mention being a proven cheat. Him jumping weight classes is him trying to cheat the system and boxing fans. :unimpressed:This isn’t daring to be great. There are plenty of fights that were considered tougher despite the outcome of him losing this one. Fighting only white fighters os not daring to be great…taking steroids wasn’t either (past or not) …It’s being a bytch and it finally backfired. Crawford and Spence are daring to be great. Shakur Stevenson dares to be great… Devin Haney dares to be great. This dude duck all the smoke to the satisfaction of gullible fans

are the fighters you say Canelo been avoiding “daring to be great” in their own right :mjpls:

How many unification fights have Boo Boo, Charlo, and Benavidez been in?

The rematch is now a blockbuster fight. If Canelo wants a rehydration clause - im betting Bivol gives that to him. Could still be a L - but I wanna see how he fares - against a Bivol weighing around 185, instead of looking 210-215 ish

Andre Ward told Canelo two years ago to stay away from Beterbiev and Bivol. Everything Ward said was spot on accurate.

people just wanna discredit canelo's opponents so they don't have to give him credit if he beats them. anybody should have been able to see Bivol was the toughest opponent canelo could have faced. He had every single tool that canelo struggles with. which is exactly why I wanted him to take the PBC deal. david is still tailormade for canelo. He doesn't have the feet, defense, or the IQ that bivol does.

but there aint no shame in daring to be great. former Junior middleweight moving up to light heavy to face the best guy there. it is what it is. canelo needed to be humbled. he fell in love with his power and thought he could walk through anybody. Dude used to be a great combination puncher now he just throws one punch at a time trying to put everybody to sleep. this is the reality check he needed. He'll bounce back even stronger. I do expect him to take the rematch cause thats the type of competitor he is. Don't know if he'll win but he'll make adjustments and do better. It really comes down to conditioning. he had success early breaking through bivol's guard but all those power punches tired him out. it was just a dumb gameplan. he really thought bivol was gonna fold like the rest. this is the 2nd fight in a row where canelo looked slow and lethargic. like he was moving in quicksand. this is the worst his stamina ever looked though. he could barely even keep his hands up. he looked slow from the jump. they need to fire their s&c coach asap and get off that bullshyt vegan diet. It seemed like he had finally conquered his stamina issues too. so this is either a training issue or he's just finally getting old. But dude was stumbling all over the ring even when he wasn't being hit. Smh. Thats why i'm not even mad. if anything is gonna light a fire under him again this is it. If he doesn't come back better then he might officially be washed. but I'm guessing they didn't bother to put in the necessary conditioning work since they didn't need to lose the extra weight. shyt is inexcusable to not be able to go hard for more than 4 rounds.

damn washed at 31???:picard:

I may have to change my vote on this poll. Bivol’s output, movement, speed and power seem like too much. I don’t know if Canelo will be able to get inside and be effective.

This might be the fight where he realizes he’s way too small for 175 :lupe:

beterbiev would have bodied the canelo that was in the ring last night

I told my boys that last night at the fight party, Bivol has better boxing skills but if Dmitry Bivol is able to make Canelo back up and get the fukk out of there everytime he opens up and his power is just good, it is not comparable to Beterbiev. Beterbiev would have absolutely RUINED Canelo, put his dikk in the fukking dirt.

What's crazy is Bivol rehydrated above 200 and was still the quicker and faster man.

Got a small bet on Bivol pulling off an upset

:smugbiden: Went just how I thought it would. Size + reach vs slow feet. Odds were absurdly generous to Canelo. Canelo is really good but he's not some prime RJJ/ Floyd type, he's beatable. Even Liam Smith caused Canelo some trouble. I knew from watching Bivol's fight against Pascal he'd win.

BTW, does anyone remember the Canelo vs prime B-Hop thread? Might be worth a bump. I know he has a different style, but those of us who said Hopkins would outclass Canelo have definitely had our case made stronger.

Eddie said if he had to guess bivol was around 185-190+ as usual. Canelo about ~180, stop using weight as an excuse. Man got outboxed plain and simple
