I don't think you understand what im saying.

How about you tell me when Floyd dared to be great then? When he did he overcome something that was deemed an impossible feat for him?

You're Floyd's #1 fan....so tell me. Who did Floyd beat that was looked at as immeasurable odds?:ohhh:

I named multiple fighters above....you used him facing Diego Corrales:heh:

When you're at the top of the mountain, everyone else is looking up at you. You wanna disqualify Floyd from greatness cause nobody else around was greater? You can split hairs all you want but him winning his first belt against Genaro was daring to be great. He dared to be great against Chico. He dared to be great giving Castillo a rematch cause the fight was close even though he won. We see people being propped up as great without even running a loss back (Lomachenko), let alone just a close win. He dared to be great and won a damn championship without a corner man against Baldomir. He dared to be great and fought Oscar at a weight he never fought at with all the "B" side disadvantages. Dared to be great and fought Cotto at 154. Dared to be great against Canelo. And he fought Pacquiao, so he didn't leave any "what could've been's" on the table by fighting his era's nemesis. This vendetta against Floyd is embarrassing coming from someone claiming to be a boxing fan. I've heard people say they hate Floyd style, that he's overrated, he boring, etc....but I've never heard anyone discount this man's place amongst the greats of the game. You're in the minority on this one.

He plans on spanking this guy like he spanked Gatti :scust:
The body shots he gave him were :scust: spanked him like he just stole somethin :scust:
Whem has this man cared what people think. Everyone goes the distance with him. All he cares about is promoting this to get more people to buy it. Thats it. Like every Floyd fight, people will be booing him running the moment it starts.

:dahell: I said Floyd was great multiples times in my statements:

Floyd is great
Like I said, he was great
Floyd was an elite fighter

...what else do you want?:dahell:

Yall Floyd stans will skip right over praise, to only address criticisms about Floyd, trying to portray him as a flawless, perfect fighter who has the best resume ever, beat HOFers in their prime, didn't ever avoid anyone, and dared to be great...and that's false to me.:yeshrug:

Floyd was great, but he doesnt have that legendary, defying the odds win like plenty other ATGs do. Simple as that. :manny:

Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales. Rip, but I disagree with them being touted as that type of win. They werent that type of talent.

They weren't that type of talent? But you lamented about Roy fighting Ruiz??? Your bias is clear, my dude.

Ruiz was 33lbs heavier than Roy Jones, a fighter who started at 154 lbs.

Genaro Hernandez & Diego Corrales were 130lbers....Floyd's starting weight class.

Even though Roy had the skill advantage...Ruiz had the much larger physical advantage. Bigger than any one Floyd has ever had to deal with.Thats daring yourself to be great, doing something nobody ever has done when it comes to jumping that type of weight.

Surely you not comparing Roy Jones jumping 2 divisions, 25lbs total, and beating the reigning Heavyweight Champion (who outweighed him by 33lbs in the ring) in his 1st fight at HW, to being = to beating Genaro Hernandez & Diego Corrales:comeon:

Surely you're not saying weight advantage is the end all be all to being considered posing a serious threat to someone who is leaps and bounds more talented than you? In terms of threats, yes fighting an undefeated fighter with a damn near 90% ko rate is daring to be great. I'd take supremely talented fighter in my weight class over a 33 lbs heavier bum. Both are great and both feats are great. You're the only one in here discounting anything.

How much did Canelo weigh compared to Floyd in fight night?

Ruiz was a strap holder btw. Lennox Lewis was the champ.

No one knows, but after the IVs I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd weighed more then his walk around wieght.

I've been telling people for years that Floyd looks bigger in fights then he does in his walk around wieght. So when I found out he uses IV bags it all made sense.
